Course Objective 先修課程：負責教授同意。介紹運轉中的機械系統其各部零件在運動必須遵守的準則及力在零件間的傳遞。範例含連桿組、凸輪、齒輪、純滾動系統、鏈輪、皮帶、滾筒式傳動組等的介紹。 Prerequisite: Consent of Instructor Introduction of the principles that all the members of a mechanical system have to obey in motion as well as the forces transmitted between the members. Examples include linkages, cams, gears, pure rolling systems, chain drives, belt drives, friction drives, etc.

Course Schedule 1-2. Type of mechanisms 2-3. Kinematic analysis of robots and linkages via Solidworks 4. Instant centers 5. Rotatability laws 6. Gross motion synthesis of linkages 7-8. Synthesis of linkages for function, motion and path generation via Solidworks 9. Midterm exam 10. Transmission by direct contact 11. Gear tooth technology 12-13. Analysis and design of Gear trains 14. Introduction to cam-follower mechanisms 15. Motion programs 16. Cam profile 17. Static force analysis 18. Final Exam
