Course Objective	Discuss the digital modulation techniques and system design. 1. Introduction to digital communications 2. Fundamental Passband digital modulation techniques (PSK, QAM, FSK, MSK) with noise 3. Band-pass signal and systems 4. Error Control Coding 5. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) -
Course Schedule	1st week Introduction to digital communication systems 2nd-5rd weeks PSK with noise 6th-8th weeks QAM with noise 9th week Midterm exam 10th-11th weeks FSK with noise 11th-13th weeks Band-pass signals and systems 14th-17th weeks Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) 18th week Final exam

Materials	All right reserved. Do not reproduce without permission. Foreign-language textbooks:No Simon Haykin, Communication Systems, 3rd ed. We are going to use simple Python program to simulate the communication systems.
