Course Schedule 1st week Introduction to digital communication systems 2nd-3rd weeks Signal Power & power spectral density 4th-6th weeks Random processes & additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) 7th week Midterm exam 8th-9th weeks Optimal detection rule 10th-13th weeks Passband digital modulation techniques (PSK, QAM, FSK, MSK) 14th-15th weeks Band-pass signals and systems 16th-17th weeks Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)

Evaluation and grading policy Homeworks (30%), midterm and final exams (35% each )
