Course Objective This course aims to improve the understandings of students in molecular simulation method. Students will learn to re-examine their own research results in a different aspect using computational simulation. Students are also welcome to formulate research tasks for their own research projects. 本課程目標學生為各實驗室專題生及研究生。短程目標為介紹分子模擬之基礎，使同學透過分子和原子層級的觀點，重新理解手邊實驗觀察的成果，以增加對本身研究結果的認知。長期目標是透過課程所提出且完成之研究題目，向自己指導教授提出計畫書。經指導教授核可後，再與授課老師合作完成該項跨領域研究，和其本身的實驗研究結果結合，可望發表在更頂尖的期刊上。

Course Schedule TBD。需按照來修課同學的研究領域做調整。

Evaluation and grading policy I don't fail students in this course. You will be graded based on your participation. There is no midterm, final, or report. However, there will be small tasks every week. In the end of the class, you are expected to: 1. learn the basics of molecular simulation 2. be able to read a molecular simulation paper in your research field 3. learn a little bit of linux, programming, all kinds of molecular simulation and analysis, statistical thermodynamics, etc. 這門課不當人。會按照同學學習態度來評分。沒有期中期末考，也不用交報告，但每堂課都會有作業需要做。如果你不是來拿營養學分的話，然後每堂課來參與的話，學期結束應該會具有以下能力： 1. 粗淺了解分子模擬各方法的理論和技術。 2. 看得懂你研究領域裡面，相關的分子模擬的論文。 3. 會一點linux，會寫一點程式，會一點分子模擬和分析，會一點統計力學，一點熱力學，英文也會變好一點。
