Course Objective 本課程包含用於人體之體內和體外的材料。體內材料包含藥物釋放裝置、人工皮膚、人工血液等。體外的材料包含診療用材料、透析膜、人工肺等。

Course Schedule Week Title 1. Introduction 2. Bioorganic polymers- DNA, protein, polysaccharide & lipid 3. Tissues, organs, and human body 4. Synthetic bioorganic polymers 5. Analysis on biocompatibility &biodegradability 6. Regulation on medical device 7. Analysis on carcinogenicity and toxicity 8. Tissue Engineering I- introduction of ECM 9. Mid-term group presentation (35%) 10. Tissue Engineering II- Cell growth and Scaffold 11. Artificial Skin Tissue- Integra & Apligraf 12. Nanoparticle in drug delievery 13. Artificial Organ- lung 14. Taiwan biomedical device-company case 15. Case report presentation 16. Case report Summary (50%)
