Course Objective 本課程主要內容將會介紹: 1何謂半導體。 2半導體的特性。 3 半導體的取得來源與方法介紹。 4半導體材料的不同應用。 5 半導體的相關產業鏈介紹。 6 與半導體相關產業的工作介紹。 The main contents of this course will introduce: 1 What is named semiconductor. 2. Characteristics of semiconductors. 3. Introduction of methods to access semiconductors materials. 4. Different applications of semiconductor materials. 5. Introduction to the semiconductor industry and its supply chain. 6. Introduction to work content in semiconductor industry.

Evaluation and grading policy 1. 期中報告(Mid-term report): (20%) -- 自訂報告主題與分組、分工規劃，上台報告每組 5-10分鐘 @ W03-W04 (Self-selected report topics, grouping, and division of labor planning; 5-minute presentation per group (20%) @ W03-W04) 2. 期末報告(Final oral report): (60%) -- 每組15分鐘 /(15 minutes per group) -- 口頭報告 / Oral presentation(40%) -- 簡報檔整理 /the presentation ppt file organization (20%) 3. 期末報告檔案上傳/ Final report upload (20%), -- Organizing the oral presentation content in written form (text and graphics) -- Upload file in the form of pdf 4. Extra bonus for organizing oral ppt, final report and the oral presenter
