Course Objective 服務學習(SERVICE-LEARNING)為一種將「服務」與「學習」相互結合的一門課程，強調服務與學習目標同等重要，以達「互惠」之功效，是一種「從做中學」(Learning by doing)的學習經歷！透過事先規劃的社會服務過程中得到啟發及省思，並藉由反思引導學生獨立思考與關注社會議題，讓學生運用課堂所學服務他人與貢獻社區，並在過程中不斷地自我成長，學習課堂中學不到的知識、經驗與價值觀，所以服務學習是學校教育中非常重要的一環！臺北科大為發揮誠樸精勤之校訓，養成學生主動積極、負責自律、勤勞服務、互助合作之美德，鍛鍊周詳規劃、領導統馭之能力，精進服務學習課程之效果，達到關懷弱勢、縮短貧富差距、落實社會正義及完成學生、家庭、學校、社區、與社福單位五贏之目標。
