Course Objective	全球暖化與氣候變遷已對人類社會造成面臨前所未有的挑戰。不論是哪個國家，都遭受其帶來的影響。並且在IPCC發布的報告中，諸多科學證據證實氣候變遷已是不可改變的事實，因此為了謀求世界各地環境的永續發展，「減緩」與「調適」是現階段全球順應氣候變遷積極採取的方式。在聯合國報告中曾經指出我國臺灣舉凡環境及氣候條件隸屬於氣候變遷高危險群，極端氣候事件，例如熱浪、颱風、洪水…等皆逐漸嚴重影響我們的家園，因此，防減災與氣候變遷調適相對更加重要。其中氣候變遷調適更是能夠面對未來氣候可能產生的衝擊，透過周延的規畫以適應充滿挑戰與變化的新環境。因此本課程針對國際與我國減少災害風險與氣候變遷調適介紹，並探討其各中因應方式與困境等課題，期藉培養與提高對氣候變遷防減災與氣候變遷調適的認識。 Global warming and climate change are the biggest challenges to human society. With current warming trend proceeds at an unprecedented rate, climate change poses a threat to all countries. In the IPCC assessment reports, much of scientific evidence indicates climate change an unalterable fact, so in order to meet the needs of present generations without jeopardizing the ability of futures generations to meet their own need, approaches on "mitigation" and "adaptation" needed to be adopted in response to climate change. Taiwan is vulnerable and at high risk to climate change because of geographic exposure and climatic conditions. Extreme weather events, such as heat wave, typhoon, and flood, bring catastrophic damages in Taiwan. Hence, proper climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction measures needed to be taken proactively to reduce many of the adverse impacts and to enhance beneficial impacts. Note	本課程導入AI輔助學習與開放資料工具，包含生成式AI、氣候AI、災害AI、調適AI、GIS、遙測與氣候資料平台等。修課同學可於課堂實作與個人作業中使用AI工具輔助資料蒐集、案例分析、圖資判讀與文字整理，但不得直接複製AI產出作為個人作業答案。所有AI產出均須進行原始資料查證、人工判斷與必要修正，並於作業中註明使用之工具、資料來源、操作方式及AI可能產生之限制或錯誤。本課程亦將說明AI幻覺、資料偏誤、模型不確定性、可解釋性、公平性、問責性與責任AI治理等議題。 當日無法到課請記得事先跟Dr. Amy Chen或助教請假。 每次個人作業請記得如期繳交。
