Course Objective 本課程由全球化框架來檢視兩岸關係的演進、現況、及發展趨勢。由政治、經濟、乃至社會心理層面分析海峽兩岸錯綜複雜的互動關係。並檢視國際政治經濟體系中，美國與日本兩大國對兩岸關係的影響。 This introductory course on the complex cross-strait interactions will examine Taiwan’s role in the intricate web of international power politics; as well as the structure of hegemonic power rivalry, particularly Sino-US-Japan triangle, and its impact on cross strait relations. The material will cover the evolution, status quo, and developmental path of the cross strait relations in a global framework.

Evaluation and grading policy 評分標準與課程要求: (1)「上課出席聽講及參與狀況」占學期總成績 40%。每學期無故缺席 3 次者以不及格論。缺席 2 次者扣減學期總成績 30%。課程進行中嚴禁玩手機與平板，手機一律設為靜音或振動模式，經多次警告後仍不改進者，一律扣減學期總成績 30%。請假必須以電子郵件寄交課程助教，並於下一週提出請假證明。 (2)學期末繳交一篇 2500 字的個人報告，占學期總成績 60%。題目另行擇期公佈。本課程的報告絕對禁止「抄襲、剪貼」，所有期末報告必須附上「Turnitin 學術論文原創性比對系統」之對比報告，與其他論文或出版品的雷同比例不得高於 20%。否則一律以「不及格」論。 (3)所有選課與經過本人同意的旁聽同學必須以實名加入 Line 課程群組。沒有例外。課程訊息一律透過 Line 群組傳遞。
