Course Objective With an aging population driving significant growth in healthcare-related industries, Electrical Medical Engineering has emerged as a crucial interdisciplinary field. Combining engineering principles and technologies, this discipline contributes to biological research and the advancement of medical science. The primary focus is to provide insights beneficial for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. This course specifically emphasizes laser medicine, a specialization within Electrical Medical Engineering. Recognized as one of the 20th century’s greatest inventions, laser technology has revolutionized various medical fields, offering innovative solutions for both clinical applications and research. This course will delve into the following topics: 1. Introduction to Medical Electrical Engineering 2. Basic principles of laser 3. Diverse applications of laser in medicine 4. Laser applications in dentistry 5. PBM PhotoBioModulation applications in Medicine and Dentistry 6. Advanced thesis writing in laser medicine
