Course Objective 本課程在介紹及闡述化學原理及物質之性質，著重於現代化學理論及概念之導入。內容包括氣體、計量化學、原子結構、化學鍵、物質狀態、能量轉換、酸鹼理論、氧化還原反應、金屬及非金屬元素、電化學、有機化學、核化學。 Introduction to the principles of chemistry and properties of matter, which are explained in terms of modern chemical theory with emphasis on conceptual problems. Individual topics include gas, stoichiometry, atomic structure, chemical bonding, and the states of matter, energy relation, acid-base theory and oxidation-reduction reactions, the chemistry of metallic and nonmetallic elements, nuclear chemistry.

Evaluation and grading policy 每教完一章,隔週檢討,再隔週測試,採英文題目,全部成績的平均即為學期成績(上課出席狀況加入學期成績之調整)
