Course Objective	本課程透過跨領域的知識講授與設計案例分析，使學生理解設計作為解決問題的理性工具，並認識設計在生活與文明中的角色。課程同時強調思辨與批判能力的培養，建立正確的設計態度與系統性思維。 This course introduces design as a rational tool for problem-solving through interdisciplinary knowledge and case analysis. It explores the role of design in daily life and human civilization while fostering critical thinking and systematic approaches to developing a proper design mindset.

Evaluation and grading policy	1. 出席與課堂參與 Attendance and Class Participation 每次出席佔2%，缺席或請假不得超過課程總時數的三分之一。 Each class attendance counts for 2%. Absence (including leave) must not exceed one-third of total course hours. 2. 四次單元筆記與心得報告 Four Unit Reflections and Notes 每單元繳交一次書面心得與筆記，佔總成績10%，共四次。 Written reflections and notes for each unit, 10% each, totaling 40%. 3. 期末小組報告 Final Group Project 小組口頭發表與簡報製作，內容需整合課程學習與設計觀點。 Oral presentation and slides integrating course knowledge and design perspectives. 4. 教師綜合評量 Instructor’s Overall Evaluation 根據課堂表現、態度與整體投入程度調整。 Adjustment based on overall engagement, attitude, and performance.

Note	由於課程名額有限，外系選修同學請務必於開學第一堂課親自到場進行面談。課程每週皆進行點名，若無法配合上課時間，請斟酌選課，以影響學習權益。 Due to limited enrollment, students from other departments must attend the first class in person for a brief consultation. Attendance will be taken weekly. If you are unable to commit to the scheduled class time, please reconsider enrolling to avoid disruption to your learning.
