Course Objective	本課程以「北科人物故事與城市記憶」為核心，結合田野調查、報導文學與GIS故事地圖製作，引導學生從人物經驗出發，認識臺北科技大學與周邊城市空間的歷史變遷、產業記憶與地方文化。 課程將以北科相關人物為主軸，訪問畢業校友、企業經營者、教師、退休職員、在地居民、周邊店家與文史工作者，蒐集他們與北科、建國啤酒廠、光華橋、光華商場、八德路商圈及周邊社區相關的生命故事。建國啤酒廠將作為北科城市記憶的一環，呈現其曾作為學生實習場域、產業空間與地方記憶節點的歷史意義。 一、田野調查與人物專訪 學生將走入北科校園與周邊街區，透過實地觀察與人物訪談，蒐集校友求學經驗、產業發展記憶、地方生活故事與城市空間變遷資料，理解北科與臺北城市發展之間的連結。 二、報導文學寫作訓練 課程訓練學生將訪談資料、現地觀察與歷史背景，轉化為具有人物描寫、場景敘事與社會觀察的報導文學作品。期中成果以一篇人物報導為主，透過個人故事呈現北科的教育傳承、產業連結與地方記憶。 三、GIS故事地圖建置 學生將整理訪談內容、照片、歷史資料與地點座標，運用GIS工具建置「北科人物故事地圖」。地圖內容可涵蓋北科校園、建國啤酒廠、光華橋舊址、光華商場、八德路商圈、周邊老店與校友創業據點，呈現人物、事件與空間之間的關係。期末成果以GIS故事地圖作為數位敘事作品。 四、課程目標 本課程旨在培養學生田野觀察、人物訪談、報導文學寫作、GIS數位敘事與地方關懷能力。透過採訪、書寫與地圖製作，學生能從北科人物故事出發，重新理解校園、產業、社區與城市變遷之間的多重關係。 This course centers on “NTUT Personal Narratives and Urban Memory,” integrating fieldwork, reportage writing, and GIS-based story mapping. It guides students to explore the historical transformation, industrial memory, and local culture of National Taipei University of Technology and its surrounding urban spaces through personal experiences. The course takes people associated with NTUT as its primary focus. Students will interview alumni, entrepreneurs, faculty members, retired staff, local residents, neighborhood shop owners, and cultural-history workers to collect life stories related to NTUT, Jianguo Brewery, Guanghua Bridge, Guanghua Market, the Bade Road commercial district, and nearby communities. Jianguo Brewery will be treated as one part of NTUT’s urban memory, highlighting its historical significance as a former site for student internships, an industrial space, and a locus of local memory. **I. Fieldwork and Personal Interviews** Students will enter the NTUT campus and surrounding neighborhoods to conduct site observations and interviews. They will collect materials on alumni experiences, memories of industrial development, local life stories, and changes in urban space, thereby understanding the connections between NTUT and Taipei’s urban development. **II. Training in Reportage Writing** The course trains students to transform interview materials, field observations, and historical contexts into reportage works characterized by personal portrayal, scene-based narration, and social observation. The midterm project will consist of a profile-based reportage piece that presents NTUT’s educational legacy, industrial connections, and local memory through an individual life story. **III. GIS-Based Story Mapping** Students will organize interview content, photographs, historical materials, and geographic coordinates to create an “NTUT Personal Narrative Story Map” using GIS tools. The map may include NTUT’s campus, Jianguo Brewery, the former site of Guanghua Bridge, Guanghua Market, the Bade Road commercial district, surrounding long-standing shops, and alumni entrepreneurial sites. It will present the relationships among people, events, and spaces. The final project will be a GIS-based story map as a form of digital narrative. **IV. Course Objectives** This course aims to cultivate students’ abilities in field observation, personal interviewing, reportage writing, GIS-based digital storytelling, and local engagement.
