Course Objective	本課程專為研究所設計，旨在排除製程干擾，深入探討材料科學理論在光電領域中的核心地位。課程將結合光波特性與半導體科學，解析光電材料在原子與電子層級的行為。內容聚焦雷射二極體與太陽能電池的材料分類、組織變態與強化機構。課程將特別探討金屬、高分子等奈米複合材料系統 如何影響光電元件的轉換效率。透過分析材料失效原因與防止方法，學生將能從材料本質出發，理解界面穩定性對元件壽命的影響。課程亦包含論文研讀，引導學生追蹤前沿材料研究趨勢。 Specifically designed for graduate students, this course focuses on the fundamental Material Science theories in the optoelectronic and semiconductor field, excluding thin-film manufacturing processes. The curriculum integrates thermodynamic and kinetic reviews to analyze the behavior of optoelectronic materials at atomic and electronic levels. The content focuses on the material classification, phase transformation, and strengthening mechanisms Laser Diodes, and Photovoltaics. We will specifically explore how composite material systems—including metals, ceramics, polymers, and nanomaterials—influence the conversion efficiency of optoelectronic devices. By analyzing reasons for material failure and prevention methods, students will understand the impact of interface stability on device longevity from a fundamental material perspective. The course also includes Paper Reading sessions to guide students in tracking frontier material research trends.
Course Schedule (Week 1-16)	第一週至三週： 光的波學特性。 第四至六週： 光電材料的半導體科學。 第七週：太陽能電池材料。 第八週： 期中考。 第九至十週： 太陽能電池封裝。 第十一至十三週：模組製程技術。 第十四至十五週：太陽能電池材料。 第十六週：期末考與總結。 第17週(非同步遠距教學)：於原課表時間，觀看由任課教師指定之數位影音教材（主題：太陽光電PV材料選擇與開發實戰指南），由系統自動紀錄觀看時數。 第18週(非同步遠距教學)：本週進行學習成果檢核，不進行實體面授。學生須於原訂上課時間內，登入「北科i學園PLUS」平台完成上課心得成果(影音教材觀課心得)，於當週下課前繳交至少500字觀課心得。 週次排定進度為預定計畫。教師得依班級實際學習進度、實驗室機台現況等實務需求，彈性調整或變更授課時程。 Weeks 1–3: Wave Properties of Light Weeks 4–6: Semiconductor Science of Optoelectronic Materials Week 7: Solar Cell Materials Week 8: Midterm Examination Weeks 9–10: Solar Cell Packaging Weeks 11–13: Module Manufacturing Technology Weeks 14–15: Solar Cell Materials Week 16: Final Examination & Course Summary "Week 17 (Asynchronous Distance Learning): Students are required to watch the designated digital video lecture (""Practical Guide to PV Material Selection and Development"") via the NTUT i-School PLUS platform during the original class hours. The system will automatically record the viewing duration." Week 18 (Asynchronous Distance Learning): Learning outcome assessment week (no in-person session). Students must log in to the NTUT i-School PLUS platform during the original class hours and submit a video lecture reflection report (minimum 500 words) before the end of the class session. The weekly schedule is tentative and subject to change. The instructor reserves the right to adjust or reorder topics and lab sessions based on actual class progress, lab equipment status, or unexpected circumstances.
