Course Objective This course will discuss the timing analysis of high-speed digital signals and their impact on the timing budget from the perspective of digital system design. There are five topics: 1. Fundamentals 2. Crosstalk effects of the coupled transmission line 3. Non-ideal interconnect issues 4. Packages, connectors, and vias 5. Nonideal Return Paths, and Differential Signaling
