Course Objective	This course is to introduce the vehicle drive-train design and analysis. Topics in this course include the definition for drive-train system、clutches、manual transmission、automatic transmission、continuous variable transmission, and power coupling devices. Fundamentals of vehicle tractive resistance will deduce the methodology of drive-train design as a good drive-train design will result in the optimal vehicle tractive performance. 本課程將以車輛之傳動系統設計與分析為主要內容，傳動系統之定義為從動力源至驅動輪間之各項組合，其中包括離合器、手排變速箱、自排變速箱、無段變速箱和動力耦合裝置等組合，由於每種車輛行車特性之不同，因此前述之各項組合有不同之排列方式，傳動系統設計之優劣往往影響到車輛之行車性能。 本課程將從車輛行駛阻力推演出傳統系統設計之理念及方法，並針對如何發揮動力源之最佳特性，搭配良好之傳動系統設計以達到較佳之行車性能為主要教學之目的。

Note	This is an EMI course and all the materials and communication are in English. The student who want to enroll in this course is required to have af least CEFR B2 English proficiency.
