Course Objective	This course explores how cultural heritage is understood, applied, and interpreted in contemporary contexts. Starting from museums and large-scale digital archives, students progressively examine the evolving roles of cultural heritage in museums and the cultural industries, and investigate the practical mechanisms of heritage value-added applications. Topics include the formation and functions of digital archives, diverse value-added typologies with case analyses, an introductory overview of image and brand licensing, and ethical and institutional considerations in heritage value creation. Through case discussions, workshops, and a field visit, students will develop culturally grounded and feasible proposals for heritage value-added projects — building the analytical understanding, strategic thinking, and practical judgment required of future cultural professionals.

Flexible Learning (Week 17-18)	Category ● 參與課程相關作業、作品、實驗、田野調查(Participation in course-related assignments, works, experiments, or field research) Content Week 17- Each student independently identifies and visits a museum or cultural institution to locate a cultural heritage value-added product , and conducts a focused case study on the selected item. Week 18 - Building on the Week 17 case study, each student writes an individual product review report (approx. 500 words) analysing the value-added strategy, cultural relevance, and effectiveness of the selected product. The report must be submitted on time via the course platform.
