Course Objective 使學生瞭解塑性變形對材料機械性質、物理性質、及化學性質之影響，實習內容如下： 1.鋼鐵、非鐵材料在各種加工度下之機械性質變化實驗；2.不鏽鋼料（18-8不鏽鋼）在各種加工度下之耐蝕性比較實驗；3. 線材之抽拉實驗，各種潤滑劑對抽拉力之影響；4.加工硬化對退火處理之組織變化，結晶粒大小之影響；5.壓軋加工下之變形實驗；6. 鍛造加工實驗；7.板材之引伸加工實驗。實驗內容主要分成兩大類，A.為材料加工製程實習，包含板材輥軋加工、棒材旋鍛實驗、線材盤元抽拉實驗、薄板沖壓實驗、塑料射出成形。B.為材料進階機械分析，包含塑性Luder's band 現象、金屬之雙晶與滑移破壞分析。 This lab course makes students understand the effects of plastic deformation upon mechanical, physical and chemical properties of metals. The course includes: 1. mechanical properties of ferrous and non-ferrous metals under different degree of plastic strain; 2. corrosion properties of 18-8 stainless steel; 3. tension tests of wires using different lubricants; 4. change of grain size with strain and annealing; 5. deformation by rolling; 6. forging; and 7. wire drawing. The main experiments will focus on: A. processes of plastic deformation including, rolling, swaging, wire drawing, plate pressing, plastic injection forming, and B. the observations of Luders’ bands, twinning, and slips in plastic deformation and fractures.

Course Schedule (一) 第一週正常實體上課，9/29(三)-10/8(二) 第二、三週，10/6起實體授課，視疫情公告，須到校上課，分三大場地，20-29人一大組，分組進行實驗。保留學生須到校進行實體測驗，三級(含)以上警戒：課程全採遠距授課。

Evaluation and grading policy 平時成績20%（出缺席及上課態度）報告成績50%（word標準格式，至少一千字，期末亦需繳交試驗完成的式樣）期末考試30%（分成顯微組織與材料試驗兩部分聯合考試）註：顯微組織部分另加考設備操作與口試試驗流程說明。
