Course Objective 幫助學生認識一般科技文章以及科技論文語法、文體、句子結構等，並加強英文口頭表達之能力。 This course helps the learners recognize the syntax, style, and organization as far as the papers on technology and technical writings are concerned. Discussions include specific ways to technical presentation and technical writings.

Course Schedule Weeks 1-2: Introduction to Presentation Skills for Postgraduates Overview of the course objectives Importance of presentation skills for postgraduate students Self-assessment of current presentation skills Weeks 3-4: Understanding Your Audience Identifying and analyzing the audience Adapting presentations for different audiences Tailoring content to meet audience expectations Weeks 5-6: Structuring Effective Presentations Introduction to presentation structure Crafting compelling introductions and conclusions Organizing main points for clarity Weeks 7-8: Visual Design and Support Creating effective visual aids (slides, charts, graphs) Principles of design and layout for presentations Ensuring visual coherence and simplicity Weeks 9-10: Verbal and Nonverbal Communication Improving vocal delivery (pitch, pace, tone) Body language and gestures Managing nervousness and building confidence Weeks 11-12: Data Visualization and Interpretation Best practices for presenting data Choosing the right visualization for different data types Interpreting and conveying data effectively Weeks 13-14: Practice Sessions and Peer Feedback Short practice presentations by participants Peer feedback and constructive criticism Tips for giving and receiving feedback Weeks 15-16: Advanced Presentation Techniques Handling Q&A sessions effectively Dealing with unexpected challenges during presentations Strategies for engaging and maintaining audience interest Weeks 17-18: Final Project and Review Participants create a comprehensive presentation on their research or a relevant topic Final presentations with peer evaluations Review of key concepts and skills, with an emphasis on continuous improvement
