Course Objective 本課程介紹應用於粒子與剛體的靜力平衡原理。課程內容涵蓋力系統、自由體圖、平衡條件、結構分析、摩擦力、質心與慣性矩等主題。課程強調運用向量力學進行問題解析。 This course introduces the principles of static equilibrium applied to particles and rigid bodies. Topics include force systems, free-body diagrams, equilibrium, structures, friction, centroids, and moments of inertia. The course emphasizes problem-solving using vector mechanics

Course Schedule Week 1 : Course Introduction; Units, Vectors, and Force Concepts Week 2 : 2D Force Vectors and Components Week 3-4 : 3D Force Vectors; Dot and Cross Products Week 5-6 : Resultants of Force Systems; Equivalent Force-Couple Systems Week 7-8 : Equilibrium of Particles in 2D; Free Body Diagrams (FBD) Week 9 : Midterm Exams Week 10-12 : Equilibrium in 3D Week 13-14 : Analysis of Trusses (Method of Joints & Sections) Week 15-16 : Internal Forces in Beams; Shear and Bending Moment Diagrams Week 17 : Friction Concepts and Applications (Wedges, Belts) Week 18 : Final Exams
