Course Objective	本課程介紹基本的金屬切削原理及其實務應用。本課程包含以下各項主題：(1)概述，(2)正交切削力學，(3)切削溫度，(4)磨耗與刀具壽命，(5)切削液，(6)表面光度，(7)切屑控制，(8)研磨加工，(9)金屬切削實驗方法，(10)工件材料的考慮，(11)精密切削技術等。 This course is an introduction to basic metal-cutting principles and their practical applications. This course includes the following topics: (1) Introduction, (2) Mechanics of Orthogonal cutting,(3) Cutting temperatures, (4)Wear and Tool Life (5) cutting Fluids, (6) Surface Finish, (7) chip control, (8) grinding, (9) experimental methods on metal machining, (10) Work Material Considerations, (11) techniques for precision machining.
