Course Objective This course aims to equip students with fundamental knowledge about structural analysis for beams, frames, and trusses. This semester will focus on analyses of statically determinate structures using energy and statically indeterminate structures using force and displacement methods.

Course Schedule Week 1: Principle of Work, Energy Week 2-4: Method of Virtual Work for Trusses, Beams, and Frames Week 5: Statically Indeterminate Structures Week 6-7: Force Method and Compatibility of Displacements Week 8: Midterm Exam Week 9: Force Method for Composite and Symmetric Structures Week 10: Influence Lines for Statically Indeterminate Structures Week 11-13: Slope-deflection Method Week 14-15: Moment-Distribution Method Week 16: Final Examination
