Course Objective 自主移動式機器人課程提供近年來在移動機器人的研究概況，以及相關的技術開發。本課程將將說明近三十年來領域發展歷史，讓同學了解包括機器人運動學、感測技術、定位與導航技術，以及實際應用的各項近期的進展。 Autonomous Mobile Robots presents an overview of technologies and methods for mobile robotics research. The specific goals of this course follow: 1. To provide historical context about mobile robotics, primarily over the past 30 years. 2. To enable students to study a chosen, specific mobile robotic technology. 3. To study state-of-the-art mobile robot research in detail.

Course Schedule • Introduction: problem statement, typical applications • Locomotion with legs and wheels • Mobile robot kinematics • Perception • Feature extraction • Mobile robot localization • Navigation and path planning • Other aspects of autonomous mobile robots, applications
