Course Objective An embedded system is a computing system designed for a specific function or set of tasks and integrated into a device or product. 1. Design and implement a basic communication protocol (packet format, length, checksums, error handling, and retransmission strategy). 2. Use an RTOS (such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr) to establish multitasking, synchronization (Semaphore, Queue, Mutex), and time management. 3. Create a userspace program + systemd service + simple network communication (Socket, MQTT, HTTP) on an Embedded Linux platform. 4. Write modular firmware/system services on an MCU or Linux platform, implementing GPIO, timers, UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, and PWM.
