Course Objective	This course provides the principal concepts and fundamental theories of thermodynamics and will cover the basic laws of thermodynamics, the energy analysis in closed systems, the energy interactions between system and environment, and the entropy analysis.
Course Schedule (Week 1-16)	Week Topic 1. Introduction to Thermodynamics 2-3. General energy analysis 4-5. Properties of a pure substance 6-7. Energy analysis of closed systems 8. Midterm Exam 9. Energy analysis of closed systems 10-12. Energy analysis of open systems 13-15. The second law of Thermodynamics & Entropy analysis 16. Final Exam
Flexible Learning (Week 17-18)	Category ● AI 輔助學習與工具應用(AI-assisted learning and tool application) Content (1) Week 17: Use AI tools to review and summarize the core concepts of Thermodynamics. (2) Week 18: Analyze an engineering problem related to thermodynamic applications. Hours 6 Learning Outcomes Students are required to submit a report by the end of Week 18. Assessment Percentage Final Project: 10%
