Course Objective	This course is specifically designed for overseas Chinese and Hong Kong-Macau students. Through the study of literary works, discussions on contemporary textual issues, and creative literary writing, it aims to develop students' Chinese comprehension, communication, and appreciation skills while deepening their understanding of culture, the world, and their own lives. Additionally, the course incorporates practical applications to enhance students' proficiency in using Chinese in professional settings.

Flexible Learning (Week 17-18)	Category ● 參與課程相關作業、作品、實驗、田野調查(Participation in course-related assignments, works, experiments, or field research) Content The course includes a Chinese-language video assignment. Please submit your video before class in Week 16. During Weeks 17 and 18, you will watch your classmates’ videos, complete peer evaluations, and provide feedback. Hours 4 Learning Outcomes During the flexible learning period in Weeks 17 and 18, please use the Google Form provided by the instructor to complete the peer evaluations and provide suggestions. Your grade will be based on how thoroughly you complete this activity. Appropriate and valuable feedback will receive a higher score. Assessment Percentage Please complete the peer feedback through the Google Form before class in Week 18. This assignment accounts for 10% of your final grade.

Note	1. The course focuses on Chinese language and culture throughout the semester, aligning with SDG 4, “Quality Education.” 2. From Weeks 2 to 16, students are required to observe their surroundings and reflect on their own lives in connection with the course materials. This component of the course corresponds to the third dimension of Innovative Character Education, “Exhortation” (Exhortation), which encourages self-reflection, personal growth, and positive development.
