Course Objective	This course is designed for international students with basic Chinese proficiency, aiming to further enhance their overall listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. It helps students communicate more confidently and fluently in increasingly complex daily interactions. The course focuses on expanding vocabulary, strengthening sentence structure usage, and improving language comprehension and expression through reading and writing practice. Additionally, aspects of Chinese culture will be integrated to deepen students' understanding and appreciation, broadening and enriching their language learning experience.
Course Schedule	Week 1 Course Introduction, Classroom dialogue Week 2 Life Design and Text Reading Week 3 Personal Interviews and Text Reading Week 4 Board Games 1: Understanding Communication Week 5 Classes are canceled due to the School Sports Day Week 6 Resume and Autobiography Writing: This week’s session introduces the methods and key principles of resume and autobiography writing. Week 7 Board Game 2: Workplace Communication Week 8 Resume and Autobiography Discussion and Interview Activities: This week’s session includes small-group discussions to help students revise and polish their resumes and autobiographies, along with in-class practice of communication and interview skills. Note	1. The course focuses on Chinese language and culture throughout the semester, aligning with SDG 4: Quality Education. 2. In Weeks 2 and 3 of the course, students are required to reflect on their own lives and engage in a dialogue with a role model. These activities serve as learning assessments and correspond to the second component of Innovative Character Education, “Explanation.” In Weeks 13–17, students design their own reading plans and present their reflections as learning assessments. This stage aligns with the third component of Innovative Character Education, “Exhortation.”
