Course Objective	紡絲原理是高分子材料與紡織工程的核心課程，主要探討如何將固態聚合物透過流變與相變化，轉化為連續纖維的理論與製程技術。課程核心涵蓋三大紡絲技術：一是加熱高分子至熔點以上、經噴絲孔擠出並冷卻固化的熔融紡絲；二是利用溶劑溶解高分子，再經凝固浴析出的濕法紡絲；以及藉由熱空氣蒸發溶劑固化的乾法紡絲。除了成型工藝，課程亦深入探討高分子流變學、噴絲頭內部的流動行為，以及後續的牽伸與熱定型工藝。這些後處理能引導高分子鏈沿軸向結晶與取向，是決定纖維最終力學強度與物理特性的關鍵，目的在結合成型理論與產業實務，奠定學生研發機能性與高階纖維材料的基礎。 Principles of spinning is a core course in polymer materials and textile engineering. It primarily explores the theoretical principles and processing technologies involved in transforming solid polymers into continuous fibers through rheological behavior and phase transitions. The core curriculum covers three major spinning techniques: melt spinning, where polymers are heated above their melting point, extruded through a spinneret, and solidified by cooling; wet spinning, which dissolves polymers in a solvent and precipitates them in a coagulation bath; and dry spinning, which solidifies the fiber by evaporating the solvent with hot air. Beyond the forming processes, the course delves into polymer rheology, fluid behavior inside the spinneret, and subsequent drawing and heat-setting stages. These post-treatments guide polymer chains to crystallize and align along the fiber axis, which is critical in determining the final mechanical strength and physical properties of the fibers. The course aims to integrate forming theories with industrial practices, laying a solid foundation for students to develop functional and high-performance fiber materials.
