Course Objective 本課程在系統性介紹各類紡織材料之組成、成形機制、基本性質、加工技術與實際應用，並訓練學生掌握紡織領域的基礎專業辭彙。課程內容分為兩大部分：一、說明各類天然與合成纖維的化學組成、合成與成形理論，探討其物理與化學性質、改質技術，以及纖維組成、合成方法與成形過程之間的交互關係與影響因素，並介紹相關測試與評估方法。二、深入解析纖維的形態特徵與微觀至巨觀結構，包括纖維長度分布、斷面形狀、密度、吸濕性與膨潤性、機械性質（如強度與延展性）、光學性質、熱穩定性、黏彈性與電氣性質等關鍵物理參數，幫助學生建立材料結構與性能間的整合性理解。 This course is designed to systematically introduce the composition, forming mechanisms, fundamental properties, processing techniques, and practical applications of various textile materials, while equipping students with essential professional vocabulary in the textile field. The course content is structured into two main parts: An overview of the chemical composition, synthesis, and forming theories of both natural and synthetic fibers. It explores the physical and chemical properties of fibers, modification techniques, and the interrelationships among fiber composition, synthesis methods, and forming processes. Relevant testing and evaluation methods are also introduced. An in-depth analysis of fiber morphology and structures at both micro and macro levels, including fiber length distribution, cross-sectional shape, density, moisture absorption and swelling behavior, mechanical properties (such as strength and elongation), optical properties, thermal stability, viscoelasticity, and electrical characteristics. This section aims to help students develop an integrated understanding of the relationships between material structure and performance.
