Course Objective	Phase equilibria is knowledge for determining single-phase, binary-phase, and multi-phase diagrams. In this class, students will learn how to read and measure the phase equilibria. The combination of experimental and simulation on phase equilibria will helps the student to understand the importance of phase equilibria on process design for industrial process.
Course Schedule	1st week: Phase equilibria introduction 2nd week: Phase equilibria introduction, vapor-liquid equilibrium 3rd week: vapor-liquid equilibrium 4th week: liquid-liquid equilibrium 5th week: liquid-liquid equilibrium 6th week: liquid-liquid equilibrium 7th week: liquid-liquid equilibrium 8th week: vapor-liquid-liquid equilibrium 9th week: Midterm exam 10th week: vapor-liquid-liquid equilibrium 11th week: vapor-liquid-liquid equilibrium 12th week: applications of phase equilibria in the distillation 13th week: applications of phase equilibria in the reactive distillation 14th week: applications of phase equilibria in the extraction column 15th week: applications of phase equilibria in the decanter 16th week: Review and problems in industries 17th week: Group presentation 18th week: Group presentation
