Course Objective	隨著各類電機設備廣泛應用於家庭與產業環境，具備基本設備判讀與維修能力已成為電機工程學生的重要實務素養。本課程以常見電機設備為核心，結合理論基礎與實務操作，培養學生理解設備運作原理並進行基礎維修與故障診斷之能力。課程內容涵蓋電機設備基本構造與工作原理、電源與控制電路解析、常見馬達與驅動方式、加熱元件與溫控系統、冷凍循環基本概念、保護裝置與安全機制等主題。透過設備拆解示範、量測實習與案例分析，使學生能將電路學、電子學與電機機械之理論知識應用於實際設備判讀與維修實作。學生將學習使用基本量測工具（如三用電表、鉤錶等）進行導通測試、電壓量測與元件檢查，並理解常見故障型態（如電容失效、馬達異常、接點燒損、溫控失靈等）之判斷流程。課程強調安全操作規範與風險意識，使學生建立正確的工程實務態度。修習完成後，學生應具備分析常見電機設備運作機制、判讀基本故障原因與執行初階維修之能力，為未來從事設備維護、機電整合或技術服務工作奠定實務基礎。 With the widespread use of electrical appliances in both residential and industrial environments, possessing fundamental skills in equipment interpretation and maintenance has become an essential practical competency for electrical engineering students. This course focuses on common electrical appliances and integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice to develop students’ abilities in understanding operational principles, performing basic maintenance, and conducting fault diagnosis. Course topics include appliance structure and operating principles, power supply and control circuit analysis, common motor types and drive methods, heating elements and temperature control systems, fundamentals of refrigeration cycles, and safety and protection mechanisms. Through equipment disassembly demonstrations, measurement exercises, and case-based analysis, students will apply knowledge from Circuit Theory, Electronics, and Electrical Machinery to practical equipment troubleshooting and repair tasks. Students will learn to use basic diagnostic tools such as multimeters and clamp meters to perform continuity tests, voltage measurements, and component inspections. Common failure modes—such as capacitor degradation, motor malfunction, contact damage, and thermostat failure—will be systematically analyzed. The course emphasizes safe operation practices and risk awareness to cultivate proper engineering professionalism. Upon completion, students are expected to be capable of analyzing the operational mechanisms of common electrical appliances, identifying basic fault causes, and performing entry-level maintenance tasks, thereby establishing a practical foundation for careers in equipment maintenance, mechatronics, or technical service engineering.

Note	17至18週彈性學習內容：學生分組實作及討論。以錄影報告方式進行(檔案上傳至指定地方，無需現場上課)，並且每組彼此評分、寫相關問題解答與心得。每組需要在其中安排至少2個問題給其他組進行解答。佔總成績20% Flexible learning content for weeks 17-18: Students will engage in group practice and discussions. This will be conducted in theme report, with each group evaluating each other, writing answers to related questions, and sharing their reflections. The theme report need to upload to the cloud and don`t need to come to site. Each group must include at least two questions for other groups to answer. The Grading is 20%.
