Course Objective	The course is a fundamental carriers transport analysis method for performing energy transport and conversion. These methods are essentially a theoretical analysis; the course teach student to set up various energy carriers including; atom, molecular, electron, phonon, photon. Course lectures are listed as: 1. introduction 2. review of basic transport process: charge, gas and energy transfer 3. Macro & Nano Transport Phenomena 4. Schrödinger Equation and Material Waves 5. Electronic Levels in One-Dimensional Lattice Chain 6. Fundamental of Statistical Thermodynamics 5.
Course Schedule (Week 1-16)	week 1: introduction to multiscale transport phenomena;fuel cell system week 2-3: numerical method review week 4-7: review of basic transport process week 8: project 1 week 9-10:topics of nano scale transport week 11-13:methods for nano-scale transport: Molecular Dynamics week 14-17: Crystal Bonding and Electronic Energy Levels in Crystals week 18: project 4, final exam
