Course Objective 此課程主要是含蓋無線通訊基頻訊號處理的理論基礎與系統架構，大部分的課程內容會以目前熱門的多輸入多輸出 (MIMO) 傳輸為背景而進行探討。 This course provides the fundamental theories and architectures for baseband wireless communications. Much attention will be focused on the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission.

Course Schedule (subject to change based on class progress) Week 1: Introduction. Week 2: Linear Algebra and Matrix Computations (Review). Week 3: Linear Algebra and Matrix Computations (Review). Week 4: Linear Algebra and Matrix Computations (Review). Week 5: Single-Antenna Wireless Communications. Week 6: Single-Antenna Wireless Communications. Week 7: Single-Antenna Wireless Communications. Week 8: Midterm I. Week 9: Spatial Multiplexing and Receiver Design. Week 10: Spatial Multiplexing and Receiver Design. Week 11: Spatial Multiplexing and Receiver Design. Week 12: Space-Time Coding. Week 13: Space-Time Coding. Week 14: Midterm II. Week 15-18: Other MIMO Transceivers (Optional) and Final Project.

Evaluation and grading policy Quizzes (weekly): 20% Midterm I: 30% Midterm II: 30% Final Project: 20%
