Course Objective	本課程將討論材料凝固熱力學、材料凝固動力學、平衡及非平衡狀態下材料的凝固現象與凝固界面之溶質濃度分佈情形。課程最後會介紹凝固學在工業界的應用實例：單晶成長與鑄造工程。 This lecture will first discuss the Thermodynamics and Dynamics for Solidification in Materials under equilibrium and non-equilibrium states. Second, we will discuss the Solidification behavior and solutes distribution at the interface between solid and liquid. Finally, we will briefly introduce the applications of Solidification in industry cases: Single Crystal Growth and Casting engineering.
