Course Objective 本課程將以案例研討為討論基礎，準備實際醫材產品或相關技術，讓同學模擬實際申請專利的過程，首先是進行專利檢索與分析，討論專利布局策略；接著讓同學進行專利說明書(含申請專利範圍)撰寫實習，模擬實務上申請各國專利之程序，然後討論之後專利答辯、領證繳費及後續維護事宜。 We will discuss the procedural aspects of the patent prosecution in biomedical materials/devices in this course. The topics cover patent search and analysis, write specification/drawings/claims, and office action response. In addition, the practical aspect of international patent prosecution is presented. The patent filing and maintenance strategies are also discussed in class.
