Course Objective This course introduces the application of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) syntax and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The course content includes: Hypertext Markup Language Cascading Style Sheets JavaScript, an interpreted scripting language HTML5 APIs syntax CSS3 features Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) HTML5 Canvas Application Programming Interface (API) WebGL for three-dimensional rendering

Course Schedule Week1-3: Chapter1: Hypertext Markup Language Week3-4: Chapter2: Cascading Style Sheets Week5: Midterm Project Week6-8: JavaScript, HTML Canvas Week9-11: WebGL Week11-15: Advanced Web programming topics

Evaluation and grading policy Homework Assignments: 20 % 2 Midterm Exams : 20% each Final Exam: 30% Quiz and Attendance: 10% Bonus: 0.5 point
