Course Objective	It is the follow-up course of laser engineering. It further discusses the principles, engineering techniques and related industrial applications of advanced high-power fiber laser systems. The main contents are listed below: 1. Overview of laser basic theory 2. Fiber optics 3. Rare-earth doped gain fiber and fiber based high-power devices 4. High-power fiber laser systems 5. Q-switched fiber laser systems 6. Mode-locked fiber laser systems 7. Fiber laser MOPA 8. Fiber laser sources in micro-machining 9. Fiber pigtailed diode laser in industry applications
