Course Objective 本課程旨在介紹應用語言學/文學文化各領域重要議題與研究趨勢，以提供研究生在準備寫作研究論文時研究方向討論及導引。 This course introduces the main sub-disciplines, key issues and research trends in Applied Linguistics/Literature and Culture. It aims to provide graduate students with the fundamental knowledge and guidance needed for preparing and writing a research paper.

Course Schedule We will have a meeting in which I discuss my research interests and advise students on finding scholarly sources and avoiding plagiarism.

Evaluation and grading policy Students should have printed out any requested material in advance; I would like them to do the library research on their own before our meeting if they can. They should come ready to meet with me and discuss. Students will do well if they are participating fully in our discussion.

Materials All right reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.

Foreign-language textbooks:Yes
Materials include printouts on plagiarism and patchwriting and on library research.

The access to curricular consultation My office hours are on Monday from 3:10–6:00 and on Thursdays from 4:10–6:00. I can also be reached on MS Teams.
