Course Objective 課程以講述電化學分析技術與原理為主，並以期刊論文中用到的電化學方法與曲線圖為案例進行說明。涵蓋的基本技術包括電位計、伏安法、計時電流或電位法、電化學阻抗譜等；延伸分析包括Tafel plot, Mott-Schottky analysis, E-pH diagram, Randles-Sevcik relation, Levich equation等的說明。涉及的領域包括腐蝕、資源化技術、電化學冶金、半導體製程(蝕刻、電沉積、CMP)、電池與電容、電催化、電還原、電沉積、電解、電化學加工、電化學感測器等。目標為讀懂且能理解電化學專業論文中的實驗設計與結果討論。 The course focuses on the principles and techniques of electrochemical analysis, using the related methods and curves commonly found in journal papers for explanation. The basic techniques covered include potentiometry, voltammetry, chronoamperometry or chronopotentiometry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy etc. Advanced analyses such as Tafel plots, Mott-Schottky analysis, E-pH diagrams, the Randles-Sevcik relation, and the Levich equation are also explained. The topics span various fields, including corrosion, resource recovery technologies, electrochemical metallurgy, semiconductor processes (etching, electrodeposition, CMP), batteries and capacitors, electrocatalysis, electroreduction, electrodeposition, electrolysis, electrochemical machining, and electrochemical sensors etc. The goal is to enable students to comprehend and understand the experimental design and results discussion in professional electrochemistry research papers.

Course Schedule 第1-2週：Electrochemistry & Potential 第3-4週：Nernst Equation, E-pH plot & Potentiometry 第5-6週：Absolute Potential & Energy Levels 第7-8週：Current & Electrical Double Layers 第9-10週：Overpotential and Tree-electrode System 第11-12週：Electrode Kinetics and Mass Transfer 第13-14週：Voltammetry: Liner-Sweep and Cyclic Voltammetry 第15-16週：Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy 第17-18週： Understanding Charge-Discharge of Battery
