Course Objective 課程旨在讓學生了解 X 射線繞射(XRD)與 X 射線吸收光譜(XAS)的基本理論與實際應用。這兩項X光技術已經成為近代材料結構鑑定的重要方法。在XRD部分，學生將學到分析粉末繞射圖數據，並計算晶體結構參數，如晶面間距(d-spacing)與結構因子(Structure factor)，以及結構精算(refinement)。X光近吸收邊緣光譜(XANES)與延伸X光吸收精細結構(EXAFS)將會在X 射線吸收光譜中介紹。此外課程中，將教導學生使用 Matlab與相關費軟體進行數據處理與結構解析，藉此提升學生理論與實驗數據分析能力。 This course is to teach students the fundamental theory and applications of x-ray diffraction (XRD) and x-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). These two x-ray techniques have become very important methods for structural characterizations on modern science. In the XRD part, students will learn how to analyze the powder XRD pattern from d-spacing, structure factor and Rietveld refinement. The illustration of XAS will include x-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy (XANES) and extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS). Meanwhile, the Matlab and relative free softwares will be used to do data analysis. Hope such combinations will enhance the capability of data analysis on students.
