Course Objective	Course Title: Dynamics (動力學) Pre-requisite: 3001011 or approved by the course instructor. Course Contents: Force, mass, and acceleration, particle kinematics, particle dynamics, work and energy, impulse and momentum, rigid body motion, and dynamics of the rigid body system. General applications, vehicle dynamics, and railway vehicles will be introduced, such as basic dynamics, vehicle dynamics, wheel-rail coupled, railway vehicle climbing and slipping, aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics and resistance of railway vehicles, railway vehicle braking, and applications of railway vehicles. This course can be counted for credits if pursuing a micro-program in railway vehicles.

Evaluation and grading policy	Course Title: Dynamics (動力學) 1. Quiz (平常考)：15 % (in general, will be held on almost every Monday) 2. Midterm Exam (期中考)：25 % 3. Final Exam (期末考)：30 % 4. Homework/Vocabulary/Pre-class study (作業)：15% 5. In-class discussion, group discussion, participation, attendance (上課答問、分組討論、出席率): 15 % 6. Homework is due the following Monday. You would need to upload your homework to the i-School before the class starts. No late homework will be accepted except having approved absences (作業上課前交，上傳i-學園，無遲交作業除非有正式假單)。 7. Copying and cheating are not allowed. 0 points will be given for all involved parties if copying or cheating is found (嚴禁抄襲，抄襲者0分)。 8. Please turn off your cell phone, or set your phone to silent mode; otherwise, 5 points will be deducted from the semester score and treated as one absence for each violation (上課中，手機請關機或以振動方式收訊。違者警告並記矌課一次且學期成績扣5分)。 9. Attendance check will be done every week. Please sit in a fixed seat (依規定，每次上課點名，請固定座位上課。)
