Course Objective	1. 首先在訓練學生基本數學思惟及推理的能力，另外也銜接基礎數學及微積分的課程，以奠定各專業領域所需的數學基礎。 2. 課程內容以教導學生具有分析處理實際工程問題所需之基本數學觀念及能力為主。 3. 強調理論基礎、運算技巧及實際應用領域，另特別增強解題技巧及演算能力，使對將來繼續深造能預作準備。 4. 使學生具備未來成為頂尖工程師或科學家所需要之入門工具。 5. 本學期課程以向量微積分、線性代數為主
Course Schedule	1-2週: Laplace Transform and application to beam deflection problems 3週: partial differential equation （偏微分方程） 4 週: Fourier Series and Fourier Transform (傅利葉級數) 5 週: Application of FFT to Engineering Problems 7-9 週: Vectors (向量分析) 10-13 週: Vector Calculus (向量微積分) 14-15 週: Introduction of Linear Algebra (線性代數) 16-17 週: Eigenvalue Problem and its application 18週: 期末考
