Course Objective 本課程之內容主要訓練學生獨立思考，培養學生對土木防災之認識，進而學習土木工程在防災上的應用，並進行專題報告、專題演講及研究小組討論。 This course is trying to train independent thinking, to cultivate understanding precaution of civil engineering for students. This course is also learning the application of precaution of civil engineering. In the class we have case study, seminar, and group meeting.

Course Schedule 每學期開始公告日期講者與題目

Evaluation and grading policy 成績標準：出席&報告 (1)上課請親自簽名於座位表上，請勿代簽。 (2)每出席一次完成簽到得總成績4分，繳交當次出席的心得報告再加4分，若該次專討未出席，不得繳交心得報告。 (3)整學期繳交六份手寫 300 字稿紙之心得報告（用稿紙且寫滿300字、不可空行、不可抄上課ppt、可不寫時間日期及上課題目，若沒用稿紙完成則不算分），並將報告拍照成 pdf檔或 jpg檔，於上課當日至隔日下午17 點前，上傳至網路 I 學園，逾時不接受補交(因於第三、四周才開放上傳，故僅本次能補上傳前兩、三周之報告) 。 (4) 心得報告繳交除六份外，每多寫一份加總成績 2 分，至多可多繳二份報告。 (5) 上課後一周內，由邀請老師之研究室同學製作海報，將張貼於中走廊，檔案經指導教授審閱修正後，將電子檔傳楊先生信箱，並註明製作人學號姓名，可抵一份心得報告。請假規則：（於系網列印填寫專討用請假單） (1)事假：務必於上課前填妥請假單並檢附相關證明，並請指導教授簽名繳回系辦，逾時視同曠課。 (2)病假：請於事後一周內填妥請假單，並檢附就診證明，請指導教授簽名繳回系辦，逾時視同曠課。 (3)出席專討課程請勿穿脫鞋上課。 (4)期中、期末考週均不上課，將不另行通知。 (5)請隨時注意系走廊電視或系網頁公佈上課相關訊息。(題目&上課地點) (6)本學期欲提出寒畢同學，需事先登記上台報告論文，方能申請提出口試。
