Course Objective 以數學與物理的方法來探討化學之原理，物質之結構與性質，內容包括由氣體動力論衍導熱力學之基本定律，物理平衡（相平衡）、化學平衡、電化學、反應動力學、輸送性質等。 Applying mathematical and physical principles to explain the theories of chemistry, molecular structures and properties of matter. The content include but not limited to the basic laws of thermal dynamics, phase equilibrium, chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry, reaction kinetics, and transport properties.

Course Schedule 進度(暫定): 開學後會再討論第1-5週 : chapters 1-2 第6週 : exam #1 第7-11週: chapters 3-4 第12週 : exam #2 第13-16週: chapters 5-6 第17週 : exam #3 物化二: (接物化一進度)

Evaluation and grading policy 1. 三次考試日期(暫定): 10/14, 11/25, 12/30，時間(三) 10:10 am - 12:00 am。 2. 期末成績為三次考試平均 3. 考試有正當理由提前向學校請假可提前考。考試開始後30分鐘才進教室，該次考試成績乘以0.8計算。考試當天未到，三日內補考者該次考試成績乘以0.6計算。 4. 全勤者(隨機點名在現場者)期末若平均58、59將彈性調至60 5. 17/18週補課或考試
