Course Objective	環境工程與科學的領域，對不論是注重水與空氣品質的國家與城市，抑或是污染物本身而言，均正持續地擴展，並具有國際性與全球性的影響。 本課程目的旨在提供一般初學者對環境工程有一個廣泛的認識，第一部分包括環境系統工程的基礎知識以及建立簡單的工程模型，和對處理技術提出定性的描述；第二部分則包含水體污染和空氣污染及其防治的途徑與措施，固體廢棄物的處理與利用等。課程冀望藉由簡單明淺的講授，培育具土木背景學生必備的環境工程基礎知識，且提升其環境意識及相關知識技能，激發對研究環境工程的興趣，進而達到環境保護之目的。
