Course Objective	選修介紹材料通性、分類與應用，並深入高分子生成之聚合反應、反應機構、反應動力學、熱力學、聚合物之材料構造、聚合方法、分子量之測定、分子量分佈以及一般檢測高分子特性之技術。 **視疫情影響可能調整授課順序、講授內容、教授方式、評量方式和配分比例。
Course Schedule	Course outline 1. Scope of polymer chemistry 2. Condensation and other step-type polymerizations 3. Free radical polymerizations 4. Ionic and coordination polymerization 5. Polymerization and depolymerization equilibria 6. Kinetics of condensation polymerization 7. Kinetics of free radical polymerization 8. Kinetics of ionic polymerization 9. Determination of absolute molecular weights 10. Secondary methods for molecular weight determination 11. Relationship between macromolecular structure and properties
Evaluation and grading policy	Grading: Usual Appearance 30% (including ZUVIO and Teams), Middle examination 30%, Final examination 30%, Report 10%, additional points (max 10 points) Note：There will be severe penalty for being late or not attending the class. The maximum penalty will be the flunk at the end of semester.
