Course Objective 本門授課之目的在於介紹奈米材料及其製程(包括濕式及乾式奈米材料法)，並探討奈米材料的未來發展及應用。所包括的課程主題如下：1.奈米材料與奈米化學簡介。2.奈米材料與結構分析3.奈米材料製成4.奈米材料自我組成5.奈米材料模擬6.碳奈米微管7.中孔洞奈米晶體之合成8.半導體奈米粒之製備與應用9.奈米材料的遠景與未來發展 The course introduces nanomaterials and their preparation processes (wet method and dry method). The future development and applications are also discussed.This course will cover the following topics:1. Introduction of nanomaterials and nanochemistry2. Nanomaterials: structure and analysis3. Nanomaterials: processing4. Nanomaterials: self-assembly5. Nanomaterials: simulation6. Carbon nanotubes7. Synthesis and sintering of mesoporous nanocrystals8. Growth and application of semiconductor nanoparticlesProspective vision of nanomaterials

Course Schedule Week 1: Introduction to Advanced Nanomaterials - Nanotechnology History and Evolution. Week 2: Nanomaterials - Nanocrystalline materials, nanocomposite materials, nano-porous materials Week 3: Dimensions of nanomaterials - 0D, 1D, 2D, and 3D Week 4: Synthesis Approaches I - Bottom-up methods and Top-down methods Week 5: Synthesis Approaches II- Modern Techniques - Atomic layer deposition, Chemical vapor deposition Week 6: Molecular Dynamics- Bio-molecular dynamic with AI x ARx VR Week 7: GROMACS program (molecular dynamics simulation - Basis) Week 8: GROMACS program (molecular dynamics simulation - Advanced) Week 9: Midterm Exam Week 10: Nanomaterials – metal organic framework (MOFs), and inorganic–organic hybrid nanocomposites. Week 11: Carbon-based nanomaterials - fullerenes, graphene, carbon nanotubes, and carbon nanofibers. Week 12: Core–Shell nanoparticles & Heterostructures - Gold nanoshells and hierarchical systems. Week 13: Quantum mechanics 1 Week 14: Quantum mechanics 2 Week 15: Characterization of nanomaterials - Structural, functional group, and surface area analysis, Morphological analysis (SEM and TEM) Week 16: Applications of nanomaterials in semiconductor industry Week 17: 3D Chip- advanced chip design for AI application Week 18: Final exam
