Course Objective
機率是用來描述與處理具有不確定性(或是因幕後影響變數太多,以致無法以確定的公式表示)的事物,例如你這期能不能中樂透彩,或是明天會不會下雨等等。並嘗試推論出事物的最可能的結果,或是對我們最有利的決策方式。本課程將介紹機率的概念與系統,並進行實驗探討如何將此工具實際應用到日常生活之中。課程內容包括: 1. Course Overview & Introduction 2. Sample Space and Probability 3. Discrete Random Variables 4. Continuous Random Variables 5. Further Topics on Random Variables
Course Schedule
課程共有四章,包括: Ch0: Course Overview & Introduction Ch1: Sample Space and Probability Ch2: Discrete Random Variables Ch3: Continuous Random Variables Ch4: Further Topics on Random Variables 以自制講義上課,講義共13個單元,每一章約上4~5周時間,但第四章只選擇部份內容。 另將依課程進度,進行相關實驗,體驗課本理論,包括: 1. 必然性與不確定性 - 猜銅板必勝手冊 2. 統計模型建立與應用 - 猜拳完全必勝策略 3. 大數理論,中央極限定理 - 賭神完全必勝手冊
