Course Objective 以專題設計方式，訓練學生獨立企劃、分析、評斷、組織、歸納與創新之思考，並實際演練完整之設計過程。學生經由分組或獨自完成一設計主題。上學期課程以題目界定、資料收集、分析調查、結論定義、構想發展及草模提交等為教學內容，下學期則進行細部設計、模型製作、專刊編輯、展示佈置以及設計報告提交等為教學內容,以培養專業設計之能力。

Course Schedule WK 01 Introduction: Future designers & Pre-test WK 02~08 PROJECT 1: Proof of cencept for a smart design that benefits target users (simple products for sophomore; complex products for junior; integrated systems for senior) WK 09 Midterm WK 10~16 PROJECT 2: Proof of cencept for a product-service system using technologies of AI and sustainability (simple products for sophomore; complex products for junior; integrated systems for senior) WK 17 Reflection & Post-test WK 18 Submit personal e-protfolio

Evaluation and grading policy Participation 20% Project 1 performance 20% Project 2 performance 20% e-Portfolio 20% Bonus 10% (Honors and award winners, limited to the outcomes from Projects 1 & 2)
