Course Objective 這是一門和「車輛動力學」相關之應用性課程，主要係論述懸吊機構之幾何特徵如何影響車輛的動態行為。內容包括利用機構學之自由度分析歸納出所有懸吊系統的種類、利用瞬心法分析懸吊機構之幾何特徵和車輛轉向特性(轉向不足、轉向過度)的關係。接著利用靜力學的概念分析路面作用於輪胎上的力量(縱向力、轉彎力和荷重)如何藉由懸吊機構傳遞至車身，以及懸吊機構的設計對於輪胎荷重變化的影響等。最後則說明如何在兼顧車輛舒適性和操控性下，有程序的執行彈簧剛性的設計。
